The drum-shaped case with floral urn finial and with foliate apron, flanked by angled square section columns with urn finials to the top and sides, with fruiting palmette mounts, on oval section bases with trailing foliate scrolls and on toupie feet, the white enamel Arabic dial with gilt-metal criss-cross hands, the twin barrel movement with silk suspension and countwheel strike on a bell, with trip to later associated musical movement concealed within the bonised plinth, the 20cm. pin-barrel movement stamped DUCOMMUN & GIROD and numbered 18211, pendulum, dome and trip cord lacking
