The arched bonnet with pierced fretwork sides and a glass door revealing the silvered brass and brass dial with Roman numerals, central single hand, central second hand alarm disc dial, the movement with verge escapement and countwheel strike and alarm on large bell above, set within a paneled box case with a domed door, conforming plinth
