by the Popov Porcelain Factory, Moscow, and the Kornilov Brothers Factory, St Petersburg, mid 19th century
Realistically modelled, the first figure depicting a Finnish woman in traditional costume, on a circular base, the back with gilt Russian inscription 'Maimistikha'; together with a figure of a dancing old peasant man in a brown coat, holding a green hat above his head, on a circular naturalistic base, both with incised and blue underglaze Cyrillic monogram 'AP', the first further incised with 'H' and 'J' and painted with brown overglaze '58'; the third figure of a dancing peasant boy wearing a pink tunic, with raised right hand holding a black hat, on a circular naturalistic base, with overglaze red Kornilov Brothers Factory mark, all marked under bases
