Both figures realistically modelled and painted, the first figure of a bearded Turk in a brown coat, standing on a square base; the second depicting a female Turk wearing an elaborate costume, standing on a square base with gilt rim and dot border, the first marked under base with incised and blue underglaze Cyrillic monogram 'AP'; the second with the incised monogram 'AP'
