The cylindrical cup on three lion's paw feet, with a profile portrait of Kutuzov facing right, after an engraving by S. Cardelli, and inscribed around the border in Russian 'General-Fieldmarshall Prince Kutuzov-Smolenskii.', flanked by ciselé trophies of arms on a green ground panel, with gilt borders, feet, interior and griffin handle with white beading, the Imperial arms above laurel branches, painted en grisaille in centre of the saucer, with three ciselé military trophies on the green ground border, gilt rims, incised Cyrillic 'P.S' under base of cup and incised mark under saucer
