Circular, one side struck with the profile of Alexander II facing right, with the Russian inscription 'By the Grace of God Alexander II Emperor and Autocrat of all Russias', the reverse with the Russian inscription 'For the best show-jumping horse from the management of the State Horse Stables', in a fitted leather case, marked with the Cyrillic initials 'PB' under the neck of the Emperor
