The cylindrical cup with flared rim, painted with 'A girl with a dog in her lap' after Greuze, in a ciselé border, on a frieze of neo-Gothic decoration on cobalt ground, the moulded foliate scroll handle with mask terminal, with gilt interior sides and rosette in the base, the saucer with similar neo-Gothic decoration and gilt rim, the painting signed in Cyrillic 'Meshche[riakov]' (lower right), incised under bases, the cup '14' '24' Cyrillic 'i', the saucer '2 H a'
