Descriptif du lot

These girandoles are characteristic of those Linke incorporated into the interiors of Ras al-Tin in Egypt and at his stand at the Salon du Mobilier in 1911. Several examples displayed on giltwood stands, including a watercolour rendering, are illustrated in C. Payne François Linke 1855-1946: The Belle Epoque of French Furniture, Woodbridge, 2003, pp. 190, 289 & 431.
