With domed skull finely engraved with dense pattern of flowers overlaid with damascened cartouches containing smaller cartouches, similar decoration to sliding nose band, plume-holders and spike, the bottom rim a series of cartouches containing silver inscriptions, with damascened chain mail; the shield with four bosses, decorated with a series of concentric stars over a ground of meandering arabesque, inscription cartouches to rim - shield 22 1/2in (57cm) diameter (2)
