Lot Essay

Niyaz Kenim Shaerqi (b.1948) is arguably the most famous Uighur calligrapher at present. His works have been exhibited in China at various venues, in Tashkent (1991), Washington (2002: Silk Road Festival), Almati (2004), Islamabad (2006) and Istanbul (2007)
