Side A: a youthful nude satyr carrying a thrysos and situla chasing a maenad, her head turned back towards him, holding a laden patera and thrysos
Side B: two himation clad youths each holding a staff
Palmettes under the handles, groundline of meander and dotted squares, band of laurel under the rim, details in added white and yellow
11½ in. (29.2 cm.) high

Collection of an Austrian noble family, acquired 1750-1780.
