With naked youth, cloak draped over left arm, holding patera and mirror, facing a seated draped female holding fan and casket, large palmette under pouring handle, band of laurel around neck, one handle missing, 12½ in. (32 cm.) high; another South Italian red-figure hydria with seated draped female holding wreath and patera, large palmette under pouring handle, rays around shoulder, band of rosettes around neck, 12 in. (30.5 cm.) high; and a South Italian red-figure lekanis and lid, the lid decorated with a seated naked youth and draped female between profile female heads, wave pattern on the rim, the body with bands of rays and rosettes, 9 in. (23 cm.) diam. excl. handles, both 4th Century B.C. (3)
