With a wing-end trapezoid blade, short inward-curved flanges and side loop below butt, 7¾ in. (19.5 cm.) long; a North European Neolithic cream stone axe head, 3rd-2nd millennium B.C., 8¼ in. (21 cm.) long; and four dark brown and green polished stone adze blades, from New Guinea, 7 in. (18 cm.) long max. (6)

Item one: formerly in the collections of Lt. Gen. A.H.L.F. Pitt-Rivers (1827-1900) and The Lord McAlpine of West Green.
Item two: remains of ink inscribed collection label; reputedly from France.
Items three-six: with ink inscribed collection numbers 6-1957, 7-1957, L1956-15 and 12-1957; formerly in the collections of Lt. Commander Hayter, R.N., circa 1890 (6 and 7-1957); and the Rev.
