A HELLENISTIC MEGARIAN RED POTTERY BOWL
CIRCA 2ND CENTURY B.C.
The deep body moulded with a charioteer on the base and radiating nymphaea and acanthus petals with rosettes, 4½ in. (11.5 cm.) diam.; a Hellenistic black glazed pottery flaring bowl with incised concentric rings around the interior, circa 2nd Century B.C., 7½ in. (19 cm.) diam.; a Roman bronze lid in the form of a mouse, 1 7/8 in. (4.7 cm.) long; a Roman bronze shell, 1½ in. (4 cm.) diam.; six Roman bronze medical instruments including two pairs of tweezers, 6 3/8 in. (16.1 cm.) long max., all circa 1st-4th Century A.D.; and a bucchero ware black pottery tripod dish and a bowl, 5¼ in. (13.3 cm.) diam. max. (12)
