SIX CORINTHIAN POTTERY VESSELS
7TH-6TH CENTURY B.C.
Comprising a trefoil-lipped oinochoe with black and red chequerboard frieze around the body and tongues on the shoulder, 3¼ in. (8.3 cm.) high; an amphoriskos with bands around the body and zigzag on the neck, 6½ in. (16.5 cm.) high; another, smaller, with frieze of horsemen, 3 5/8 in. (9.2 cm.) high; two aryballoi, the smaller with frieze of warriors with circular shields, 4½ in. (11.5 cm.) and 2½ in. (6.4 cm.) high; an alabastron, 5 1/8 in. (13 cm.) high; and three other vessels, 6 in. (15.2 cm.) high max. (9)

Acquired at auctions in France between 1985-1990.
