EXTENSIVE RUN OF THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE BIBLIOGRAPHY OF ENTOMOLOGICAL LITERATURE EVER PUBLISHED. The lot comprises three overlapping runs of the Insecta volumes from the original date of publication to 2003. Originally conceived by Günther to cover the whole of zoological literature, one portion of one run also includes this wide scope from 1864-1893. Thereafter, as the published output grew, the Museum felt the need to only bind up parts relevant to specific departments. The present lot therefore reflects the Entomology Department's holdings.
