A rectangular Karelian Birch box with rounded corners, the hinged-lid inset with an ivory carving of stags and hounds; together with an ivory-lined tortoiseshell pill-box; together with an octagonal box, the top-hinged lid engraved with leaf-sprays and laurel cartouche containing a crucifix on painted white ground, the border of alternating blue, red and white triangles, Continental, 19th century -- 4 1/8 in.
