DAOGUANG PERIOD (1821-50)
Finely enamelled to the top with a double xi (happiness) character surrounded by four iron-red bats, the border with four stylised shou (longevity) characters alternating with four lotus blooms borne on leafy scrolls, the sides similary decorated with meandering lotus scrolls
