Finely pierced and carved in high relief with the Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove in various leisurely pursuits, three seated in peaceful contemplation and four gathered around a scroll table, attended by two servants, in an idyllic bamboo grove, the patina of an attractive honey-brown tone
