A SPLASH-GLAZED POTTERY FLASK
TANG DYNASTY (618-907)
The body of oval section, each side moulded in relief with phoenix amongst fruiting vine branches between floral bursts and further impressed designs, with a pair of pierced leaf-form handles at the shoulder, all covered with a cream glaze with scattered brown splashes, above the flared foot with almost flat base
