The tanto with black-lacquered scabbard with sankai-hishi mon sculpted in delicate low relief, the matching metal fittings all of shakudo with the same crests and also paulownia in shakudo and gold inlay, the kozuka of shakudo nanako with sankai hishi mon in gold inlay and the fuchi-kashira and other pieces of shakudo carved with slanting rows of nanako and repeated circles, the menuki of paulownia crests in gold and shakudo
