Momoyama period (early 17th Century)
The thirty-two-plate helmet bowl with hoshi ("stars," rivets) having floral washers, a broad brim with the same hoshi, iron hachiman-za, broad brim with embossed eyebrows and furrows in the center of the forehead, silver-lacquered wood tentsuki ("reaching for heaven") maedate (forecrest) and four-plate black-lacquered black-laced iron plate hineno-jikoro (neck guard)
