inscribed 'FIDGET. the property of JOHN NAPPER esqr. In the Year 1794. She won the silver Collar in Petworth Park for which 8 Greyhounds started and 8 paid forfeit. on the sameday she was challenged by mister Faulconers Red Dog Smoaker whom she beat. In the Year 1795 she received forfeits from Mr Tripps Black Dog Flash, and she ran a match against Mr Eeles's famous Dog whom she beat easy. In the Year 1796 she won the Silver Cup in Petworth Park for which 17 Greyhounds started and 8 paid forfeit. on the same day she was challenged by Mr Fullers Black and White Dog Snap whom she beat. She was then matched against Mr Winkworths famous Black Bitch. Silver Aliais Fly, who won the Cup in Petworth Park in the Year 1795 when Fidget was not entered for it, and who had challenged all England. they were allowed to be the two best Greyhounds that ever started together and Fidget won. In the Year 1797 She again won the Silver Cup in Petworth Park for which 17 Greyhounds started and 10 paid forfeit. She also ran a match against Mr Edsaws Smoaker and beat him. (lower centre)
