A student of Corot, and later a companion of Cézanne and Pissarro, Vignon exhibited with the Impressionists from 1880-1886, and was one of the painters who was a link between the Barbizon and Impressionist schools. His work has been conserved in the Museum of Impressionism in Paris and in Reims Museum
