The fig-shaped bowl engraved with the crucifixion depicting a chalice dependent from each of Christ's hands, the reverse with strap-work and flower-heads around a grotesque mask and with contemporary initials I.A S the stem with overlapping acanthus leaves and cherub mask finial, the stem terminating at front of the bowl in a mask
