The boxwood and chevron strung hinged cover centred by a conch shell enclosing two trays of fitted divisions and shells and above a faux frieze drawer with ivory escutcheon and a real frieze drawer fitted with shells, the conch shell inlaid and strung cupboard doors enclosing four graduated drawers each displaying shells fitted within divisions, the sides with brass carrying handles, on a later stand
