In original cartons except lot 17, lots 15 and 16 are damaged. Lots 13 to 17; Bottled by Russell & McIver Ltd. Embossed metal capsules, except lot 17 which are plain, some with slight signs of seepage. Original tissues, glue-stained labels. Levels: base of neck or better.
Lot 18; English-bottled, plain carton. Embossed plastic capsules, no labels. Levels: eleven into neck, one base of neck.
Lot 19; Bottled by Deinhard. Embossed metal capsules. Original tissues. Glue-stained labels. Levels: eight into neck, four base of neck.
Lot 20; Bottled by Whitwhams. Metal capsules, slightly corroded, two damaged. Glue-stained labels. Levels: six into neck, two base of neck, four top-shoulder

Tasting note: still fairly deep; very good, soft, rich, 'classic' nose; medium-sweet, full-bodied, very good flavour, packing quite a punch, glorious finish. Good for another 20 years. Last tasted March 2005 ****(*)2008-beyond 2020. M.B.
