With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with cord strap in 1934 and its subsequent sale on 7 September 1936. Furthermore delivered with the original fitted presentation box stamped Patek Philippe & Co., Genève and Francisco F. Freccero, 561, 25 de Mayo, 563 Montevideo. According to the Archives of Patek Philippe, it was sold without the diamond-setting which has most likely been added shortly after the sale by Freccero upon request of the original owner.

To the best of our knowledge, this watch has never been offered in public before.

Preserved in very good overall condition, the rarity of this attractive timepiece is further enhanced by the retailer's signature Freccero, Patek Philippe's prestigious agent in Montevideo, Uruguay, signed on the dial and in the presentation box.
