With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with platinum-plated gold dial with "flinqué" or engine-turned centre and Roman numerals in 1919 and its subsequent sale on 4 August 1920.

This watch is one of the exceedingly rare examples of a Patek Philippe minute repeating watch cased in platinum to appear in public. It is furthermore preserved in very good, original overall condition.
