A LARGE GREYISH CELADON JADE DEER GROUP, MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
carved as a stag and doe seated in opposing directions, their heads turned back upon themselves to gaze upon each other, the stags head slightly raised with twin antlers and open mouthed expression, one foreleg stretched out before him, the smaller doe, seated with her long legs tucked neatly beneath her body -- 9in. (22.8cm.) wide.
