A LARGE CELADON DISH, MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
rising from a short broad foot to an everted barbed rim, the sides moulded as overlapping petals -- 14in. (35.6cm.) diam., stand.
Provenance
Plesch collection (Ch 36); acquired by the father of the present owner in 1920s and then inherited in 1957.
