A TIBETAN GILT BRONZE MAKALA HEAD POLE FINIAL, 18TH/19TH CENTURY
cast with bulging eyes and hairy eyebrows, the wide open mouth with protruding tongue and raised snout, the interior of the mouth, the horns extremities and the mane painted in red lacquer -- 7¾in. (19.8cm.) long, wood stand.
