A SILVER INLAID BRONZE LANCE SHAFT FINIAL, KO, WARRING STATES (475-221BC)
the lower section of flattened hexagonal form tapering to a waisted mid-section, terminating at a rounded knop, the upper section hollow with twin drill holes, above a raised band of twisted rope motif, the body decorated with wide scrolling silver inlay, the remains of a lacquered wood shaft sits within the finial -- the finial, 4 3/8in. (11.2cm.), wood stand.
