formed as twin confronting bats, their heads raised above the rim of the bowl, their open wings moulded around the oval dish, depicted upon a blue enamelled wave ground, the interior and the base in turquoise enamel, Daoguang iron-red seal mark to base -- 7½in. (19.1cm.) wide.
