painted to the body with two ladies within a fenced garden, two gentleman standing on the steps of a nearby covered pagoda, foliate trees issuing from rockwork and with scrolling clouds to the reverse side, Chenghua underglaze blue six-character mark to base -- 5in. (12.8cm.) high approx.
