MARK OF RICHARD COOKE, LONDON, 1806
Circular with a gadrooned rim and two drop ring handles, engraved twice with the Royal crest within the Garter motto and below Royal duke's coronet, engraved underneath with initials 'EA' over 'F' and 'EDC', marked near rim and on handles
9½ in. (24 cm.) diam.

The Royal crest is that of Prince Ernst Augustus, Duke of Cumberland, later King of Hanover (1771-1851).
The engraved initials stand for 'Ernst, Duke of Cumberland' and 'Ernst Augustus Fidekommiss' - the entailed property of the Duke of Cumberland.
