The carved lapis-lazuli handle with a gold cagework mount, the matix engraved with initial 'EA' below the Royal crown, marked on cagework
3 1/8 in. (8 cm.) high
The initials are for Prince Albert Edward, Prince of Wales and Alexandra, Princess of Wales, later King Edward VII (r.1901-1910) and Queen Alexandra (1844-1925).
