Of inverted pear-shape, the domed cover pierced with spiral panels of husks and encrusted with colourful flowers above pierced foliate scroll handles, the shoulder and neck pierced with palmettes and leaf ornament, painted with harbour scenes within shaped oval gilt bands enclosed by a foliate garland, reserved on a ground gilt with l'oeil de perdrix ornament, on a domed foot within gilt line rims (slight chipping to encrusted flowers, minute chip to stepped foot and handles, slight flaking to gilding)
