1787, BLUE INTERLACED LS MARKS ENCLOSING DATE LETTER KK, PAINTER'S MARK FOR JACQUES-FRANCOIS-LOUIS DE LAROCHE, INCISED 44 TO SAUCER
Painted with ribbon-tied bouquets of flowers within circular blue- ground cartouches gilt with beads, the pale-yellow ground decorated with puce pearl ornament, within similar blue and gilt cartouches, the borders with swags of forget-me-nots above bouquets of pink roses and branches of berried laurels, within blue line and gilt rims (minute flaking to gilding)
