Of serpentine shell shape, painted in the style of C.F. Herold, the cover, three-quarters of the shaped sides and the interior of the cover in colors with merchants and fashionable couples on the quayside with ships, the back with a rider in a landscape flanked by Purpurmalerei figures reserved within gilt Laub-und-Bandelwerk cartouches, the bottom similarly painted in purple with fashionable people in with a city harbor
