Twelve leaves from a Ferial Psalter, in Latin, illuminated manuscript on vellum [?Strasbourg, late-13th century], 152 x 109mm, 17 lines, some leaves conjoint and some consecutive, including two pages with the openings of Psalms marked by large illuminated initials, each with a full-length saint standing against a ground of burnished gold (some rubbing to initials with loss of pigment, browning at upper corners). The leaves are very close in style to a breviary now in the Stadtbibliotheck Mainz (Hs I 436, see Cîteaux 1098-1998, Rheinische Zisterzienser im Spiegel der Buchkunst, Landesmuseum Mainz, 1998, no. 78).
