The Worcester Highway is clearly shown (the modern A422) at the southern end of the map, running parallel with and then crossing the river Piddle Brook. Various landowners and their associated houses, mills, copices and fields are noted and marked, including Mr Woolmer, Sir John Skidmore and Richard Russell. Grafton Copics [sic] is some distance north of the modern-named Grafton Wood.
