Venice: Johannes and Gregorius de Gregoriis, de Forlivio, 23 December 1496. 3 works in 2 volumes, imperial 2° (420 x 282mm). Woodcut of St. Anthony at end of second work, gothic type, double column. With final blank in the first and second works. (Minor wormtrack, a few small wormholes, neat tear in final leaf of vol. I.) Contemporary south German blindstamped ?pigskin over wooden boards, each side tooled to a different design but uniform, manuscript fragment spine-liners, 2 fore-edge clasps (rubbed, small sections missing, clasps repaired). Provenance: contemporary manuscript index on front pastedowns, a few annotations -- Count Johann Weikhard von Auersperg (signatures, catalogue note dated 1655, bookplate). A Sammelband of rare editions of major legal texts in fresh, large copies from the Auersperg library.
