With slender blade of watered steel punched and engraved with a stylised device on one side (patches of light rust), hilt of characteristic type including border-engraved silver crosspiece and back-strap, and horn grip-scales rising to a pommel, in its original leather-covered wooden scabbard with large engraved silver mounts, Turkish silver marks
