With russet barrel chiselled and engraved at the breech, cut with a spurious Western inscription and the muzzle with silver sheath cast with a close-set pattern of nodular scrolls, false ramrod, engraved strongly bevelled lock, carved stock, the butt partly overlaid with silver relief plaques and patterned wire, chiselled iron trigger-guard encrusted in silver, silver pommel cast in low relief, and pierced silver side-plate (incomplete)
