A SCOTTISH SILVER-MOUNTED DIRK

With sharply tapering backsword blade struck with a large fleur-de-lys on both sides, wooden hilt carved with traditional interlace studded with silver nails, the basal shoulders faced with differing silver panels, silver collar incorporating later small recurved quillons, silver cap pommel chased with rococo flowers, the button en suite, and in its original tooled leather scabbard with linear engraved silver mounts, loop, and no provision for extra pieces
