The first with long two-stage barrel with 'Spider' fore-sight, border-engraved breech tang, the lock signed 'Chance & Homer' and fitted with roller, full stock with take-down fore-end, engraved brass mounts, and ramrod, private proof marks; the second with three-stage barrel with silver grotesque mask sight, rounded lock signed 'Bjmn. Brooke', full stock, moulded brass mounts, plain iron side-plate, grotesque escutcheon, and ramrod, London proof marks
