With swamped sighted barrel formed in three stages with chiselled beaded lines at the breech and muzzle, beaded girdles overlaid with brass, iron lock with external springs and fitted with dog-catch, beechwood full stock, the fore-end with carved projection for fitting a rest, the butt with deep cheek-piece and patch-box closed by a simple cover pivoting on the underside, iron mounts, sling-swivels, and original iron ramrod
