Lot Essay

Denholm Elliott was awarded this BAFTA for his role as Dan Akroyd's kindly butler Coleman in the Paramount Pictures film Trading Places.
This style of BAFTA award, designed by American sculptor Mitzi Cuncliffe was introduced in 1959 and has remained the same ever since.
