A RARE LARGE CARVED DINGYAO BOWL
NORTHERN SONG DYNASTY (960-1127)

The wide flaring sides rising from a narrow tapered foot to a foliate rim, the interior carved with a lotus blossom borne on a leafy scrolling branch, the metal-bound rim notched to conform to the lobed sides, evenly covered overall with an ivory-white glaze
